Bob Jones Latin II helps students enrich their English vocabulary through the study of Latin. This Latin curriculum teaches basic grammar, vocabulary, and reading skills, as well as everyday Latin phrases. The Student Text teaches grammar, vocabulary, and translation skills while emphasizing Roman history and Latin translations of the Bible. Continuing the study of BJU Press Latin 1, students will now focus on nominative and genitive noun forms, verb moods and more. By the completion of the course, students should have had mastered Latin word forms, understand the functions and translations of these forms, and read with comprehension what is written in Latin. The text is designed so that the teacher does not need previous experience in Latin.
